At Invoice Penguin, we believe in privacy by design. Our invoicing tool is completely free to use, requires no sign-up, and stores no personal data about you or your invoice information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Unlike many online services, Invoice Penguin operates with zero data collection. We do not:

• Require user registration or account creation
• Collect or store personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
• Store any invoice data or content you create
• Use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you personally
• Share your information with third parties
• Store browsing history or session data

Local Storage Only

Invoice Penguin uses your browser's local storage feature to save your invoice data temporarily on your own device. This data:

• Only exists on your device (computer, tablet, or phone)
• Is never transmitted to our servers or anyone else
• Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data
• Is used solely to maintain your work-in-progress if you refresh the page

PDF Generation

When you download a PDF of your invoice, the generation happens entirely in your browser. The PDF is created locally on your device and downloaded directly to you - we never see or store it.

Standard Web Technologies

Like any website, Invoice Penguin uses standard web technologies that may temporarily log basic connection information (IP address, browser type) for security and performance purposes. This data is:

• Automatically deleted after standard retention periods
• Never linked to any invoice content or personal information
• Never used to identify individual users

Analytics

We use Gizmo Analytics (gizmoanalytics.io) for privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics. Gizmo does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, does not track visitors across sites, and does not collect personal information. We do not use advertising or data collection services.
